There are two friends in Japan and one of them is leaving. Then the other friend's grandfather falls from a building and ends up in a hopsital. Then reality shifts, the two end up in very oddly themed parralel universes. They are all callled Abenobashi Shopping Arcade, but are game themed, speace themed, and jungle themed. The two try to return to their world, but always seem to end up in another odd world.They meet an oddly dressed man who is the only person aware of the different worlds. He, in fact, is a master of spiritiual forces, and oculdnt care les to help them. One character, mohime, a red haired bi bustedf girl also seems to repeat in each of the different worlds, and besides the spiritual man is the only person that does not have a corresponing person in real life. Only towards the end do they start to qustion why they should return, or at leeast the boy does. If he returns, he learn,s his grandfather will die and Arihime will leave. All of this occured because the boy tried to find a world where is grandafhter survived the accident, and returning to reality will mean acknoledgin his death.
